In this role you ensure the quality, accessibility, and reliability of public-facing digital applications within PPG’s Global Custom Software Solutions. You operate as an experienced individual contributor in distributed Agile teams, applying structured testing, QA processes, and continuous improvement to complex software. You will work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to validate requirements, support releases, and drive defect prevention at scale. This role offers impact across e-commerce and branding platforms in a globally distributed environment.

• Verify compliance with business, functional, non-functional and accessibility requirements for public-facing apps
• Perform static testing of requirements for completeness, consistency, testability and accessibility impact
• Define test scope, plan testing activities, estimate tasks, coordinate tests and manage test environments
• Design, write, maintain and execute manual and automated test cases based on Gherkin user stories and acceptance criteria
• Develop technical test cases validating integrations, APIs, data flows and dependencies
• Execute tests, log defects, collaborate with developers on fixes and re-test
• Maintain and update test suites and automated scripts
• Analyze results to identify trends, risks and opportunities for defect prevention
• Utilize AI-powered QA tools to support testing activities and continuous improvement
• Support release testing and provide evidence including accessibility validation for go/no-go decisions
• Ensure traceability of requirements, tests, defects and release evidence in Azure DevOps
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Scrum Team on processes and accessibility considerations
• Validate Definition of Ready and Definition of Done with quality criteria
• Document QA plans, schedules, reports and accessibility evidence
• Plan and monitor testing to meet sprint timelines and releases
• Update QA artifacts in Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with QA peers to align testing approaches
• Contribute to QA Community of Practice (CoP)
• Provide guidance to junior QA members as needed
• Complete required training and development activities
Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of hands-on software quality assurance and testing experience
• Solid understanding of SDLC and xpzdshu QA lifecycle
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Proven ability to design and execute complex manual and automated test cases
• Solid understanding of test automation concepts and practices
• Experience testing integrations, APIs and data flows
• Mandatory experience using AI-assisted QA tools
• Strong knowledge of accessibility principles and validating public-facing apps
• Experience using Azure DevOps (or equivalent ALM tools) for test management, traceability and reporting
• Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment and adapt to tool/process changes
