**Your Role & Responsibilities**- Customization of commercial tools and development of internal code in programming languages such as Python/Matlab.
- Analysis of power losses of electromagnetic systems based on computational methods.
- Preparation of requirements and contact with suppliers of magnetics components.
- Selection of optimum magnetics components based on performance, cost, and market availability.
- Close cooperation with mechanical and electronics engineers to optimize the mechatronics system.
**Your Skills & Strengths**
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering or any other relevant field with EM background (physics, mechanical engineering, etc.).
- PhD degree on EM topics will be valued.
- Fluent in English.
- Spanish and German will be a plus.
- Electromagnetics design.
- Knowledge of inductive coupling systems and the modeling of magnetic and conductive materials in magnetic coupling systems with EM tools.
- Background knowledge and theoretical understanding of computational electromagnetic analysis and physics (e.g., Maxwell equations).
- ANSYS-Maxwell, HFSS, Altair-Flux, Altair-Feko.
- Electronics circuit simulation (LT Spice, PSIM).
- Python.
- At least two years of experience as electromagnetics design engineer, or PhD on electromagnetics design.
- Previous experience in inductive coupling systems will be highly valued.
- Previous experience in wireless power transfer will be highly valued.
- Previous experience in the automotive sector will be a plus.
