Future Learning is currently looking to expand our international sales team and is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, experienced, and confident Regional Business Developer to manage our Spanish and selected EU markets while based in Spain.
EU Regional Business Developer - based in Spain
As an EU Regional Business Developer, you will work in international sales, driven to achieve sales targets through all channels for all markets. Reporting to the EU Senior Sales Executive, your responsibilities include retaining and developing existing clients, securing new customers and routes to market, and supporting the development of innovative Future Learning projects.
The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, positive, detail-oriented, fun, and a team player. Being organized and driven with a keen attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive repeat sales through B2B and B2C relationships/networks.
* Generate new sales opportunities via relationships, routes to market, and creative product offerings.
* Enter all sales opportunities into the CRM system and monitor leads and pipelines.
* Respond to leads and inquiries promptly and effectively.
* Coordinate with other departments on new business proposals for deliverability and profitability.
* Achieve sales targets for new Future Learning centres and champion their development.
* Identify in-country opportunities and attend external events, conferences, exhibitions, and workshops.
* Travel as needed to visit clients and prospects within your assigned region.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitors, and market intelligence.
* Meet annual sales targets and KPIs, providing regular reports to directors.
* Develop a network for market intelligence and new business access.
* Manage and develop key accounts, ensuring customer expectations are met.
* Contribute to strategic planning and marketing efforts, including translation and marketing material design in Spanish.
* Identify new sales agents and partners, and enhance relationships with existing ones.
* Support the development of direct and agent bookings in adult and young learner sectors.
Candidate Requirements:
* Based in Spain.
* Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or equivalent.
* Fluent in Spanish and English; additional EU languages (Portuguese, French, German) are a plus.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in the International Language Education Industry.
* Experience in account management, relationship management, sales, or marketing.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across cultures and levels.
* Strong IT, organizational, and administrative skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets.
* Willingness to travel extensively.
* Driving license is desirable.
* Experience with digital marketing and CRM systems.

Contract Details & Hours:
Spanish working hours apply. Flexibility required for overseas travel, trade shows, and events. Service fee €21,000 to €24,000 annually plus commission; total package can reach €33,000 to €36,000+ based on performance. Native Spanish speaker; additional EU languages a plus.
