In this role you drive the phenomics strategy for vegetables and flowers, translating imaging and AI-driven insights into competitive breeding advantages. You work across international R&D sites to deploy scalable phenotyping platforms and integrate PoC advances into production workflows. You partner with IT to build cloud-based data pipelines and guide external collaborations and IP strategy. This position places you at the intersection of biology, data science, and software, shaping sustainable cultivar development.

• Define and execute the phenomics innovation strategy and technical roadmap aligned with breeding priorities
• Lead end-to-end technology integration from PoC to deployment across international R&D sites
• Act as technical authority for imaging, computer vision, xpzdshu and AI/ML in breeding applications
• Collaborate with IT to architect scalable, cloud-based platforms and data pipelines (AWS)
• Build the external ecosystem through scouting, collaborative research, and IP strategy
