Responsibilities Support activities related to taxes, compliance, accounting, and audits for Spain and Portugal.
Create and manage a tax calendar to ensure statutory deadlines are met and coordinate all tax activities with KPMG.
Attend to tax-related audits and requests, and develop and document internal controls related to taxes.
Prepare statistical declarations for government institutions and support e-invoicing processes.
Contribute to various tax projects within the region.
Coordinate external and internal audits.
Assist with research and planning related to indirect tax issues.
Support finance projects.
Prepare statutory financial reports.
Manage relationships with banks.
Review and approve internal controls.
Coordinate with Global Business Services for accounting requests.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance/business or equivalent.
Proven experience in similar positions.
Advanced skills in Excel.
Proficiency in ERP Systems.
Master in Taxes would be an advantage.
Great communication skills in English and Portuguese.
Spanish would be a plus.
