Position Overview :
The Business Development Manager (BDM) for House Repair Claims will be responsible for driving growth and expansion of the company's house repair claims services. The role requires a strategic and proactive individual to develop relationships with clients, insurance providers, contractors, and other stakeholders. The BDM will identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and ensure that the company’s offerings align with market needs while achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities :
* Market Analysis & Strategy : Conduct market research to identify new opportunities within the house repair claims sector, including emerging trends and competitor activities. Develop and implement strategies to expand the client base.
* Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with insurance companies, homeowners, contractors, and property management companies. Act as the main point of contact for key clients to address their house repair needs and claims.
* Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking with industry professionals, attending events, and leveraging online platforms. Prepare and present proposals to potential clients.
* Sales & Revenue Generation : Develop a sales pipeline, manage client accounts, and close deals to meet sales targets. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and vendors to ensure the best outcomes for both parties.
* Project Coordination : Work closely with operations and repair teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services once claims are approved. Oversee project management of repair claims from initiation to completion.
* Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Provide feedback and market insights to improve service offerings, claim processing, and customer experience.
* Reporting & Analysis : Track sales performance, prepare regular reports on business development activities, and identify areas for improvement. Provide updates to senior management regarding pipeline progress and market trends.
Key Functions
* Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts.
* Achieve monthly sales targets by identifying and developing new customers.
* Ensure high customer satisfaction and upsell/cross-sell within existing customers to maximize share of wallet.
* Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales follow-up.
* Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
* Monitor market trends and provide competitor feedback.
* Identify opportunities for new business development through lead follow-up and research.
* Generate new business by understanding client needs and offering relevant solutions.
* Manage the sales process to close new opportunities.
* Build and maintain relationships with existing clients.
* Achieve activity and revenue targets weekly and monthly.

Ideal Profile
Qualifications :
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Insurance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Experience: 3-5 years in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in insurance, construction, or house repair industries.
* Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with home repair claims, insurance standards, and claims management systems is a plus.
* Skills :
