Vodafone Group is launching its new technological HUB (MSH), an international center of excellence dedicated to research and development of technical solutions such as Secure Networks, 5G and 6G development, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC, and UCC for Vodafone Business, platforms, and enterprise solutions.
Join us to create the future together! The Technology Intelligence Solutions Center Lead will be responsible for:
* Representing technology_VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) leadership in Malaga whenever applicable.
* Leading activities related to establishing the Technology_VOIS center in Malaga in close coordination with multiple _VOIS functions such as HR, Finance, Employer branding, etc., while coordinating with Technology _VOIS global service lines organization e.g., Digital SWE, Data and analytics, BSS/CRM, Business relationship management, Operation performance centre, etc.
* Following the establishment phase, maintaining dual roles: delivery where reporting to a global service line, and center lead reporting to Technology_VOIS Head.
The responsibilities include:
* Building strategy and partnerships for the IT tech_VOIS center in Malaga.
* Overseeing activities related to establishing and growing the center, including attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining top IT talents.
* Utilizing location capabilities to meet current and future skill demands aligned with Vodafone Strategy.
* Creating a productive environment for global delivery.
* Managing local crisis situations effectively.
Requirements:
* 10+ years of IT leadership experience managing large IT units.
* Solid experience in software engineering and development lifecycle.
* Knowledge of strategy development and implementation.
* Creativity and ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
* Excellent communication skills for networking and delivery in local and global environments.
* Proficiency in English.
