Job Summary:
We're seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to spearhead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth while overseeing critical business operations. This role encompasses 80% sales-related initiatives, including client acquisition, partnerships, and market penetration strategies, with 20% dedicated to optimizing operational processes to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute the company's sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets, identifying new market opportunities and partnerships.
2. Client Acquisition: Drive and oversee the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing sales to bring new clients on board.
3. Partnership Management: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key partners, influencers, and industry stakeholders to enhance The Secret Society's market presence.
4. Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting individual and group performance targets while providing coaching and support.
5. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, using this knowledge to refine sales strategies and service offerings.
6. Sales Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key sales metrics, developing strategies to address performance gaps and opportunities for growth.
7. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, and other departments to align sales goals with overall business objectives and operational efficiencies.
8. Resource Allocation: Ensure optimal allocation of resources and support to sales and business development activities to maximize effectiveness and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
* Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in a leadership capacity within a dynamic industry.
* Sales Expertise: Proven track record of driving sales growth, meeting or exceeding targets, and developing successful business development strategies.
* Leadership Skills: Experience in building, leading, and inspiring high-performing sales teams.
* Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to develop effective strategies.
