Job Description:
Role Overview
The Architect – MarTech & Digital Ecosystem serves as the enterprise technology and solution design authority for marketing, web, and data platforms within a global delivery model.
This role is responsible for defining and governing a scalable, compliant, and fully integrated MarTech architecture spanning marketing automation, CRM, web platforms, DAMs, and enterprise data ecosystems.
The Architect ensures seamless interoperability between platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Veeva, WordPress VIP, DAM systems, and enterprise data layers (data warehouses, data lakes, MDM, CMP), while enabling automation, AI-driven use cases, and compliant activation across markets.
The role blends architecture leadership, integration strategy, governance ownership, and stakeholder orchestration.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Enterprise MarTech & Platform Architecture
* Define and evolve end-to-end architecture across:
o Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journeys, Automations, Data Models, multi-market scaling)
o Veeva CRM & Veeva PromoMats
o WordPress VIP (component-based architecture)
o DAM and content supply chain systems
o Enterprise data platforms (warehouses, lakes, MDM, CMP)
* Translate commercial and marketing requirements into scalable, compliant, and reusable technical solutions.
* Define reusable templates, modular components, metadata structures, and shared taxonomies to enable cross-market standardization.
* Provide architecture guardrails for campaign scalability, automation, and AI enablement.
B. Integration & Automation Strategy
* Design and oversee integrations between:
o SFMC Veeva CRM / PromoMats
o WordPress VIP DAMs & metadata layers
o Workflow tools Production & MLR systems
o MarTech platforms Enterprise data warehouses, CDPs, and consent platforms
* Architect API-first, middleware-enabled, cloud-native integrations.
* Enable automated content syndication, consent-based activation, and data-driven personalization.
* Improve system reliability, reduce manual dependencies, and optimize turnaround times.
C. Data Architecture & Governance
* Define data models supporting segmentation, personalization, and omnichannel orchestration.
* Govern customer data across warehouses, lakes, and MDM systems ensuring:
o Accuracy
o Lineage
o Access controls
o Compliant activation
* Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and HIPAA.
* Embed consent management workflows via CMP integrations.
* Establish audit-ready documentation and metadata governance standards.
D. Quality, Compliance & Risk Management
* Act as the final architecture authority for campaign and platform compliance.
* Enforce MLR-aligned templates and metadata-driven content workflows.
* Drive defect reduction through standardized QA frameworks and automation tools.
* Identify architectural risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
E. Stakeholder & Program Collaboration
Collaborate closely with:
* Key Account Managers
* Market Liaisons
* Onsite Delivery Teams
* Regional Governance & Program Management
* Lead technical design workshops, intake governance forums, and architecture reviews.
* Translate complex technical constructs into commercially meaningful insights.
* Provide strategic advisory on platform investments, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience Required
* 7–12 years of experience in MarTech, Enterprise Architecture, or Digital Engineering.
* Deep expertise in:
o Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture & multi-market orchestration
o WordPress VIP & component-based web design
o Veeva CRM & Veeva PromoMats workflows
o API design, webhooks, middleware, and cloud-native integration patterns
o Metadata frameworks and tagging structures
* Experience with:
o DAM systems
o CDPs and marketing analytics pipelines (e.g., GA integrations)
o Data warehouses, lakes, and MDM architectures
o QA automation frameworks
* · Language proficiency required in Spanish (for Spain market)
* · Based in Madrid or already residing in Spain with ability for regular on-site work.
