Summary
As a Commercial Account Manager atLear Corporation, you will be responsible for managing and growing keycustomer accounts within the automotive OEM sector. This role focuseson building strong client relationships, negotiating commercial terms,ensuring program profitability, and driving long-term strategic growthwith OEM and Tier-1 customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the central interface and primary commercialcontact between the company and the customer, representingcustomer-specific concerns and interests
Develop and maintainstrong, long-term relationships with purchasing, engineering, andprogram management teams internally and at customerorganisations
Manage negotiation and completion of commercialissues with timely conclusion
Manage sales account with P&Lresponsibility, cost and pricing management and profitabilityownership from project inception through to end of production(EOP)
Ensure profitability by managing costs, identifying marginimprovement opportunities, and minimizing commercial risks
Deliverprogramme(s) with committed financial metrics
Support programlaunches and engineering changes from a commercial standpoint,including quotation submissions, commercial approvals, and pricetracking in line with agreed customer timeline
Maintain internalreporting and support business case approvals
Monitor salesperformance, forecast customer demand, and report revenue, margin, andpipeline activity to leadership
Track open issues, customerscorecards, and internal KPIs
Follow up on aging debt and drivecash-in collection in line with forecast dates
Manage ongoingprojects – from pre-series to series production to spare parts indirect OEM contact
Successful execution of acquisition projects andmanagement of the RFQ team
Independently create offers incollaboration
