Responsibilities
- Actively develop new business and expand existing customer relationships
- Identify and convert high-value opportunities in pharma, biotech, diagnostics, and life sciences
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, meetings, quotations, negotiations, and follow-up
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, projects, and forecasts
- Represent the company in customer meetings, visits, and industry events
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure successful project execution
Background
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales within life sciences, fine chemicals, pharma, biotech, or related industries
- Proven track record in new business development, not only account management
- Strong understanding of technical sales environments and long sales cycles
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and prioritize effectively
Required Skills
- Commercially driven, proactive, and results-oriented
- Strong communicator and relationship builder
- Structured, reliable, and comfortable in an international setting
- Willing and able to travel extensively (40–60%)
- English – fluent
- Spanish – fluent
- German – strong professional level (preferred)
- Additional languages are a plus.
