We are a small and friendly team handling a high volume of submissions while priding ourselves on offering a personalised service to the researchers who publish with us.**About the Role**The Lancet Regional Health – Europe is an Open Access journal under The Lancet’s global health initiative. It focuses on improving healthcare quality and access globally. You’ll work with Senior Editors and the Editor-in-Chief on journal preparation. You'll also collaborate with authors and various editorial teams.**Responsibilities:*** Contributing critically to the selection of the journal content.* Identifying experts to act as peer reviewers on selected submissions.* Writing editorials, organizing peer review of research articles and reviews, and conducting webinars and podcasts with authors and key opinion leaders.* Commissioning content to build our journal’s profile among the communities we serve and handling special project content (e.G. Series and Commissions) as necessary.* Developing and maintaining links with the regional health community to solicit high-quality research and thought leadership for the journal.* Attending conferences and events, identifying suitable topics and authors, and keeping up-to-date with current developments in regional health.**Requirements:*** Have relevant qualifications in clinical or biomedical science, public health, general health, or related fields.
