PpOur client’s Microsoft Business Solutions team is a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organisations, providing their clients with the ability to keep up with the ever-changing digital world by implementing Microsoft’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Engagement (CE) software from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) software line. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pThe Dynamics CRM Senior Consultant is a core team member of KPMG’s customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 centred solutions. The Senior Consultant will be involved in the business processes and solution design and will be hands on configuring and customising the implementation of Dynamics CRM solutions working with both onshore and offshore development teams. The position may require business travel. /p pbJob Location: /bSilema, Malta /p pbWork Type: /bHybrid /p pbJob Type: /bFull-time, Permanent /p pbWorking Hours: /bGMT +1 /p pbSalary: /bBase + Benefits (Paid in Euros €) /p pbRelocation: /bVISA Relocation Package Included /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liA University graduate with relevant degree within a computing or business discipline /li liMicrosoft D365 CE Certifications (2016, D365) are desirable /li liStrong functional knowledge and understanding of Microsoft D365 CE covering a wide spectrum of industries and sectors /li liAt least 8+ years of hands‑on proven functional experience in D365 CE configuration, standard workflows, dashboards, forms views customizations, Report development /li liDetailed knowledge and understanding of all modules within D365 CE including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service Field Services /li liWorking knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) /li liGood understanding of Dataverse including customisations and development of Business Data Models for different solutions /li liGood understanding of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Accelerators, industry templates and add‑ons /li liA proven track record of successful implementation maintenance of a number of solutions within large client companies, preferably across a number of business verticals (Healthcare, Education, Banking, Manufacturing etc.) /li liA proven ability to develop a clear understanding of clients’ needs and the ability to incorporate them into a solution /li liExperience of consultancy roles in software delivery /li liExperience in a delivery‑orientated IT environment using waterfall, agile and DevOps methodologies /li liAdept at Business Requirement Analysis /li liThe ability to see the greater picture and suggest solutions both within and outside the current implementation /li liExperience in supporting pre‑sales activities is an advantage /li liProject documentation experience especially for work packages to be implemented by offshore teams /li liBusiness process mapping, modelling and documentation knowledge /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liThe senior consultant will work as a techno‑functional lead to analyse, design, develop, test, maintain and support applications developed using D365 CE by working closely with client teams and business stakeholders. /li liContribute to activities as required including building demo and proof of concept solutions for various client presentations /liliWork on the creation of Dynamics 365 solutions and industry templates /li liMeet and exceed customer expectations of business knowledge, skills and behaviour /li liSupport practice business development activities such as Pre‑Sales, Recruitment, Mentoring Juniors, Sharing knowledge, Initiatives etc. /li liEnsure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory trainings /li liCarry out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by the management team /li liRepresent our client’s Microsoft Business Solutions team in a professional and positive manner at all times /li liThe Employee is required to follow our client’s Information Security Policies (ISP and ISMP) at all times /li liPerform Project responsibilities as described and given below, towards Team (lead), Client (client facing) and Governance (aiding Project Managers) /li /ul h3Individual /h3 ul liOrganise, manage and document workshops, meetings and requirements sessions with the client representatives, project stakeholders /li liVerifying customer requirements to ensure completeness and correctness by working with technical consultants/leads. Ask relevant and right questions to gather additional information to avoid confusion. Provide accurate estimations for tasks /li liResponsible involvement in low‑level and high‑level design; architecture/design of project; creation and elaboration of requirements/tasks to be given to technical leads/developers/team members; project documentation /li liLay down quality guidelines (requirement traceability, acceptance criteria, non‑functional requirements, other design standards etc.) for the project /li liWorking closely with Technical Lead to setup quality gates and quality threshold parameters for project /li liComplete allocated tasks as per schedule with appropriate quality /li liAugment decision making for “inventing vs. re‑using” knowledge/assets with appropriate reasoning. Get consensus from stakeholders and document decision for all project related decisions /li liProactively raise and document concerns, risks, impediments pertaining to various aspects of project and provide support to mitigate them with appropriate RACI /li liTriage bugs, issues etc along with Technical lead during testing (System, UAT, Integration etc.) /li liDecision making with appropriate/relevant insights /li /ul h3Towards Team /h3 ul liProvide a clear definition for “Done” /li liAllocate work items/tasks to team members /li liPerform review of work done and provide necessary review comments to enforce quality /li liProvide required guidance and support to team members when stuck /li liProvide details to team on quality standards to be adhered /li liSetup and conduct daily stand‑up meeting with team /li liConduct monthly technical retrospective meetings with actionable outcomes. /li liKeep a check on everyone’s understanding of end‑goal /li liInvolve appropriate team members for necessary decisions and take accountability of decisions /li liAdvocate for feature reusability and efficiency gain /li /ul h3Towards Client /h3 ul liParticipate in customer workshops as necessary /li liProvide guidance to customer and their IT/Business Analysts team /li liProvide sufficient reasoning for features that look “out of league”; Challenge the client on such requirements and suggest trade‑offs as necessary /li liProvide clear weekly progress/status report for self and team /li liHighlight risks or impediments in appropriate forums /li /ul h3Towards Governance /h3 ul liProvide guidance and support in setup of Dev Management processes /li liGuidance in setting up right DevOps system tools; Setup CI/CD pipeline with appropriate templates /li liVerification of Automate Build and release management (including Roll‑back plans) /li liSetup and verification of right branching and merging strategy /li liRepresent provide opinions in management reviews or steering committee reviews /li liEnsure team calendar is up to date; Ensure appropriate work distribution, backup/backfill planning /li liDocument Lessons Learnt and share it in broader forums /li liProvide immediate and appropriate feedback to team members /li /ul h3Microsoft Business Solutions Overview /h3 pAt our client, your long‑term future is every bit as important to them as it is to you.
