PstrongSummary: /strong /ppThe Accounting Supervisor is reporting directly into the Finance Manager in the region. /ppThe role is performing and supporting all day-to-day and month-end accounting tasks in relation to GL and documentation requirements as assigned, for Spain and Portugal. /ppThe role acts in close collaboration with the Finance Manager and as a backup for the FM. /ppAssist with the coordination of the monthly closing process and reporting for Spain and Portugal. /ppAssist with preparing supporting documentation for quarterly and year-end closing and final AUDIT. /ppEnsures that all journal entries and monthly account reconciliations are performed accurately, completely and within established deadlines. /ppAssist the statutory financial statement preparation. /ppPrepare and record asset, liability, revenue and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Manages all accounting operations including; AR, AP, General Accounting, Fixed Assets, Treasury Management and Intercompany Accounting. /ppProvide ad hoc reporting as requested. Can supervise the team of AP, AR Payroll. /ppComplete assigned document requests for internal/external auditors timely and accurately. /ppTrack the progress of financial and accounting objectives. /ppThe role needs to ensure application of policies, processes and controls to STERIS Corporate standards. /ppstrongDuties: /strong /polliuAccounting /u: Perform all Accounting and Finance tasks as assigned by Manager.
