As a Software Engineer, you design and implement AI-powered automation that scales in the cloud to support Siemens ProductCERT SBOM services. You work with an international team to streamline incident handling and automate complex workflows. You build scalable backend solutions, APIs, and AI agents that improve efficiency and decision-making. This role offers impact across cybersecurity software, AI/automation, and cloud-native platforms, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and learning.

- Design and implement automated software pipelines to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Build and deploy AI agents for intelligent automation and anomaly detection
- Develop internal APIs to expose automation capabilities for other services
- Research, validate, and present findings to inform decision‑making
- Integrate automation with internal/external systems and third‑party APIs (REST, gRPC, queues)
- Stay updated on AI, ML, and automation trends and advocate their adoption
- Create and extend APIs, design database queries, resolve bottlenecks, implement production‑ready automation, document solutions
Responsabilidades
- 2+ years of backend, automation, and AI engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go (Python highly valued)
- Experience with API web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI)
- Strong problem‑solving with data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with RPA tools (Selenium, UiPath)
- Experience with AI/ML model lifecycle (data collection to deployment and monitoring)
- Data manipulation and data pipeline development for AI/ML training
- Experience with large language models, prompt engineering, and fine‑tuning
- Experience with relational and non‑relational databases; graph DB a plus
- AWS (serverless, Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, SQS) and cloud deployment
- NLP and automation for human‑quality outcomes
- Understanding of business process mapping and workflow optimization
- Nice‑to‑have: Terraform, graph theory, transformers, Kafka/RabbitMQ
