MezTal is looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the finance operations of a U.S.-based client. This role is idóneo for an experienced AR professional who is comfortable managing the full accounts receivable cycle while collaborating with an international finance team.
In this position, you will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate invoicing, payment application, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts. You will also communicate directly with clients to resolve billing issues and maintain healthy cash flow.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and confident when communicating with clients about payments, discrepancies, and account status.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, payment application, and account reconciliation
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and past-due balances
- Communicate with clients via phone and email in English to resolve payment issues or billing discrepancies
- Apply and reconcile incoming payments to customer accounts
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and supporting documentation
- Support month-end close activities related to AR
- Collaborate with the accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts
- Escalate complex collection or account issues when necessary
- Maintain professional communication with internal teams and external clients
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Approximately 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
- Experience managing the full AR cycle
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients or companies
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence handling phone calls with clients regarding payments and account issues
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
