About the Opportunity
We are looking for an IT Category Manager to join an international procurement team and take ownership of strategic indirect spend categories across EMEA, with a strong focus on IT procurement.
This is not a traditional operational purchasing position. We are looking for someone with a genuine category management and strategic sourcing mindset, capable of acting as a business partner and building strong relationships across an international stakeholder environment.
The role offers the opportunity to play a key part in an evolving procurement organization, contributing directly to supplier strategy, category development and long-term value creation.

What will you be doing?
* Shape and implement category strategies across IT and indirect spend areas within EMEA.
* Take ownership of the IT supplier landscape, identifying opportunities for optimization, innovation and long-term value creation.
* Lead sourcing initiatives end-to-end, including RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, supplier selection and contract negotiations.
* Drive supplier consolidation, cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across IT, Finance, HR, Legal and other business functions.
* Translate business requirements into sourcing opportunities and procurement strategies.
* Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner within the organization.
* Monitor market trends, supplier ecosystems and innovation opportunities.
What are we looking for?
* Solid experience within Indirect Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Category Management environments.
* Strong exposure to IT-related categories such as Software, SaaS, Telecom, IT Services or Technology Vendors.
* Experience in category ownership and strategy development, beyond transactional purchasing activities.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills within international or matrix organizations.
* Comfortable navigating evolving environments and helping build processes and best practices. xhfqzwm
