Vestas Technology & Operations Procurement Transport
The Transport Procurement department is an integral part of the Global Procurement organization and deals with transport suppliers. The team must secure transport capacity at the right safety, quality, and cost levels.
* Negotiate and manage vessel chartering, identify business requirements, and align with market analytics to support Vestas functions in Manufacturing, Sales, Services, and the Supply Chain organization.
* Identify chartering business requirements and internal demand (short and long term).
* Align capacity demands of global transport for vessels and chartering business.
* Negotiate transport prices to safeguard budgets and establish contracts with transport vendors, including frame agreements.
* Develop communication and relationships with senior global, regional, and local stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
* At least 8 years of working experience within an OEM with a global footprint, capable of operating effectively within a matrix environment.
* Strong problem identification and definition skills, including cost analysis and financial acumen.
* Deep understanding of transport market dynamics.
* Advanced English communication skills.
