About the Job
We are looking for a Lead Java Backend Developer to join our team at Agile TV. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, customization, and maintenance of applications and backend systems for Smart TV platforms.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Smart TV development environments, multimedia technologies, and a deep understanding of scalable, high-performance architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development and evolution of leading TV products and services, providing the best TV experience.
* Help in the design of the architecture.
* Participate in the development of new products and the enhancement of existing ones, contributing to architectural decisions.
* Design and implement new features to support backend modules and improve platform functionality.
* Develop high-performance, reliable, secure, and scalable applications.
* Act as a mentor for other team members.
Requirements:
* 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
* Expertise in software development best practices (SOLID, Clean Code), including optimization, documentation, and testing.
* Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security), and dependency injection.
* Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
* Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
* Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
* Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
* Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
* Fluent in Spanish (C1/C2) and English (B2+ or higher).
* Must be residing in Spain with a valid work permit.
