Job DescriptionSO/ Sotogrande, a luxury hotel brand, is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in Sotogrande, Spain. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a dedicated team of food and beverage professionals.
Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving service standards and increasing revenue
Train, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high performance levels
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe working environment
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally
Support the creation and implementation of innovative menu concepts and promotional activities
Monitor and analyze financial performance, making recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in restaurant management or a related field, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting
Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service
Solid understanding of food and beverage industry trends
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
Food Safety Certification required
Fluency in English and Spanish
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
