Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Regional Sales Manager North West Europe / Iberia to join our team in Madrid, Spain.
Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager will maximize the exposure of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (WHR) franchised hotels of all brands within their territory, focusing on developing sales opportunities, customer account management, and driving contribution to the hotels within their region(s).
The region includes North West Europe / Iberia, with a focus on Iberia and the UK. The role involves managing and developing existing National and Regional Accounts and developing new business accounts across all market segments to enhance contribution to a set of hotels.
This position requires a sales approach, acting in partnership with clients and travel intermediaries, to deliver incremental revenue and increased market share for hotels, franchise partners, and WHR.
The manager will work to meet or exceed annual revenue goals by:
* Developing and implementing sales plans for top clients.
* Negotiating and contracting rates for key clients across segments within the designated region.
* Managing group leads and RFP solicitations through Wyndham Sales Systems.
* Success will be measured by revenue, room night production, RFP acceptances, and other metrics, with an average of 25+ sales appointments or calls monthly.
Responsibilities
Sales Account Management & New Business Development - Identify and secure new accounts within the territory, in conjunction with participating hotels.
Build pipeline plans with revenue and room night targets by segment:
* Corporate Transient Business (RFP & TMC)
* Group / MICE Business (GSO Sales Leads)
* Leisure groups & FIT (Tour Operators & Agencies)
Develop strategic partnerships with key leisure Tour Operators, Corporate Clients, Travel Agencies, and MICE Companies to drive business.
Devise strategies to maximize hotel revenue and contribution to EMEA targets.
Franchisee Relations - Collaborate with franchise and management partners to understand their needs, visit hotels, and educate them on WHR tools.
Internal Relations & Systems - Work with colleagues across WHR units, support initiatives, and utilize business tools to meet goals.
Industry Participation - Represent WHR at industry events and join relevant associations.
Self-Development - Continuously update knowledge and skills to stay relevant and prepare for future roles.

* Drive significant revenue into the WHR portfolio within an agreed territory.
* Manage accounts solely within their territory.
* Work mainly remotely, with minimal supervision, responsible for new and existing accounts.
Scope / Financial Responsibility
Responsible for a portfolio of accounts and new business development, with revenue goals and participation in incentive plans. Manage expenses within budgets, review costs, ROI, and submit monthly expense reports.

* Significant hotel sales experience (property, national, or global).
* Multi-segment knowledge preferred.
* Full driving license preferred.
* Fluency in English; additional European language (Spanish) is an advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality sales systems.
