You define procurement strategies in project meetings, coordinate internal communication, and summarize the award process for approvals. You communicate with suppliers, monitor the market, and select suitable suppliers. You stay updated through exchanges with colleagues and partners.
How You’ll Make an Impact
* Responsibility for procuring national and international construction main and ancillary services, technical building equipment, and engineering services based on Real Estate project requirements.
* Creating (electronic) tenders, evaluating offers, and conducting price and contract negotiations up to contract conclusion, including managing supplementary and claim processes.
* Defining and implementing procurement strategies for various material fields, conducting needs, market, and supplier analyses to ensure cost-efficient, timely, and quality supply.
* Conducting worldwide market analyses depending on the project country to optimize procurement strategies and collaborate with the best suppliers.
* Implementing and ensuring adherence to defined purchasing methods, processes, and systems within a digital procurement environment.
* Collaborating closely with internal interfaces such as other purchasing functions, legal, project management, bid management, construction planning, regions, controlling, and reporting departments.
What You Bring
* A degree in architecture, civil engineering, industrial engineering with a focus on construction, or a technical construction background with a commercial education.
* Several years of experience in project management or procurement within the construction or real estate sectors.
* Strong negotiation skills, goal orientation, and proactive approach.
* Knowledge of project management specific to procurement and contract law.
* Fluent English skills and proficiency with Office tools.
