POSITION SUMMARY / MISSION
Reporting to General Manager of Spain & Portugal, the main goal of this role would be:
To lead the Healthcare Marketing function and team for Primary Care (Rx) and Consumer Healthcare (OTC) in accordance to the Spanish affiliate portfolio and pipeline strategy, aligned to sales, market access, medical and compliance inputs.
Member of the MC Iberia Leadership Team.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
* Define a patient-centric and customer success marketing strategy for the portfolio of products, analysis, planning, and execution of the Brand Plans, and pre-marketing activities for the pipeline products. Drive global view and direction.
* Evaluate, anticipate, and identify future go-to-market needs. Develop and implement action plans to prepare the Healthcare Prescription & Pharmacies organization for sustained competitiveness in both the short and long term.
* Lead the strategy creation and co-lead the execution for the Local Brands (Rx and OTC) in the Spanish Affiliate, providing strategic insights for the proper preparation of the Marketing Plan, and assure the proper execution, aligned to the approved budget.
* Be co-responsible for the local P&L of the Brands.
* Directly supervise the team in charge of strategy ideation from the commercial side via understanding patient, physician, stakeholder and payer needs, defining market segments, analysing the competitive landscape, creating brand/franchise strategies and formulating the Local Brand Plans.
* Ultimate responsible to deliver a competitive and differentiated positioning for the Local Brands through their life cycle. To lead the definition of messages and elaboration of the Local campaigns and Local materials.
* Recommend and contribute to the successful product introduction and commercialization. To this effect, a frequent presence in the field is expected and required to identify and support local needs.
* Be one of the faces of the Almirall Business in Spain, therefore, a high level of continued and effective interaction with customers and KOLs is required.
* Provide guidance and leadership to direct reports to build strong customer sucess & payer value propositions/stories for Rx and OTC portfolio in addition to providing tools and support to the market access teams in Areas and Affiliates
* Oversee the development and execution of communication strategies and creative marketing strategies for all local brands.
* Exert an effective and high level of influence in the Rx and OTC Product Planning process to provide direction and ambition.
* Drive an innovation mindset withing the BU. When needed, support Business Development team to continuously scan the market, prioritize and assess Rx and OTC businesses (projects, products and/or companies) that can be of strategic interest to Almirall.
* Jointly with the corresponding operational and People & Culture functions, contribute to create communication initiatives to create awareness and engagement around the Local Brands.
* Lead and coach the team under his/her responsibility, ensuring high standards, developing individuals and team, and cultivating talent.
* Promote and disseminate a winning attitude and customer success mindset through his/her leadership and strategic vision.
* Embrace and cultivate culture transformation and values across the team and internal & external stakeholders.
EDUCATION
* Academic degree, preferably within in business or in a life science.
* MBA highly appreciated.
EXPERIENCE
* At least 8 years of leadership experience in marketing and sales, leading and implementing transformative business models
* Experience in either the FMCG, OTC, pharmaceutical, medical devices, or similar sectors
* Experience in collaborating and supervising new product planning and/or Business Development opportunities (commercial evaluation processes, new market opportunity assessments).
* Knowledgeable about market research, sales operations, educational and customer service programs, patient-oriented programs, business forecasting, global competitive intelligence, sales force structure and deployment analysis.
* Long term strategic planning initiatives, optimization of promotional spend across categories and across territories in Spain, targeting & segmentation and price setting
* Successful track record in building, managing and leading teams within a dynamic and changing environment.
* Experience in solutions based on the latest trends in new technologies and artificial intelligence.

* Fluent level of Spanish and English, both oral and written with the capacity to communicate with conviction and self-confidence
