Join us as a GenO Capacity Planning Engineer in our EMEA Technology Engineering Data Center Capacity Planning Team, based in Bucharest, Romania. 
About the Role 
As a Capacity Planning Engineer, you'll be at the center of how Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) grows. You'll monitor capacity across dozens of data centers, forecast demand, and help ensure customers have the compute, storage, and cloud resources they need, where and when they need them, to run their businesses on Oracle Cloud. 
You'll collaborate across sales teams and cloud engineering teams- learning how large-scale infrastructure operates and developing the skills to make a measurable impact from day one. 
What You'll Bring 
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
+ Curiosity about cloud computing, data centers, and scalable systems. 
+ Analytical mindset - comfortable working with data to uncover trends and patterns. 
+ Strong communication skills, able to explain complex topics clearly and confidently.

**Responsibilities** 
What You'll Do 
+ Monitor and analyze data center capacity systems for compute, storage, and Exadata workloads. 
+ Track customer consumption trends and develop insights to predict future capacity needs. 
+ Collaborate with management to recommend new infrastructure expansions. 
+ Host weekly customer capacity reviews with cloud engineering and sales teams 
+ Present regional capacity health updates to Oracle Technology community 
+ Understand and articulate on-the-ground capacity - both what is available now and what is scheduled to arrive across our data centers. 
+ Maintain schedules of incoming capacity expansions and ensure alignment with demand forecasts. 
+ Help maintain and improve capacity management systems - ensuring accurate availability data and robust forecasting. 
+ Support regional sales and cloud engineering teams by providing insights into capacity health, allocation, and troubleshooting.
