We are looking for a Corporate Sustainability Manager for our Sustainability & Excellence department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in similar roles and a high level of English proficiency.
Mission: Ensure that sustainability activities comply continuously with customer demands, regulatory requirements, and TOLSA procedures. Foster the company's transformation towards higher operational efficiency, environmental standards, and corporate social responsibility.
Functions:
* Manage the team to follow policies and procedures to achieve goals and objectives.
* Oversee recruitment, retention, communication, development, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions; communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, appraise, and review job contributions; plan and review compensation.
* Develop and implement sustainability plans at factories, mines, or production centers.
Address regulatory aspects of products (product stewardship): define specifications, implement quality methods, control product quality plans and packaging, supervise quality labs, and ensure compliance with ISO procedures and SAP for Quality.
* Conduct audits, monitor actions, and ensure compliance with standards such as BRC.
SGMMM Team: Implement, maintain, and improve the SGMMM standard.
Environmental Monitoring: Analyze and predict current and future practices to monitor and minimize environmental impact. Promote environmental practices balancing economic and social considerations.
* Carry out CSR actions.
* Promote collaboration, solidarity, and communication.
* Estimate operating and capital costs for social programs.
* Produce and recommend social and sustainability reports.
Qualifications:
* Technical Engineer or Science Bachelor's degree.
* Experience in quality, environmental management systems, and industrial health and safety.
* Knowledge of health and safety training and internal auditor training is advantageous.
Languages: Proficiency in the local language and English.
