WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Data Analytics & Models Junior Analyst, you will support the SCF Risk team by utilizing data ecosystem information, defining, and providing queries related to regulatory and management uses such as RDA, New Default, IFRS9, and contributing to the improvement and development of the SCF HQ Data Ecosystem.
Your responsibilities include:
* Development of data exploration and exploitation processes, ensuring optimal performance with large data sets, and designing analytical models for data exploitation.
* Conducting exploratory data analysis.
* Assessing the feasibility of solutions using analytical models based on available data.
* Defining and analyzing complex queries.
* Developing mathematical and statistical models.
* Preparing and optimizing data.
* Identifying and resolving technical inconsistencies.
* Executing queries to extract required data monthly.
* Supporting new developments or modifications on post-implementation projects (RDA, IFRS9, NDD).
REQUIREMENTS
Experience: 1-2 years in database query design, database management, and Python programming.
Education: Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics.
Skills & Knowledge: Data Science, programming (SQL, Python, PySpark, R), data mining, visualization, and experience with financial or consumer finance environments is desirable. Knowledge of Power BI and proficiency in English (spoken and written). Spanish language skills are also required.
