Global Medical Training Senior Manager - HQ - Spain Mission
Responsible for the Global Medical Training Strategy (focused on Global Brands), including the development, implementation, and active management of training projects to enhance the competencies of Medical & Market Access functions and facilitate knowledge transfer to other Commercial and Marketing functions, aligned with our global training governance.
This role encompasses management development, advanced and recurrent training, and additional development programs in collaboration with internal and external partners to establish comprehensive learning and development processes, including stakeholder needs assessment, learning tools, resources, technology, and metrics.
Core Responsibilities
* Develop a comprehensive Global Medical Training strategy in collaboration with the Global Brand Team.
* Enhance the capabilities of the Medical Affairs team (global & local) in line with the Medical Excellence roadmap (collaborating with People & Culture).
* Implement Global Training Governance at global and local levels.
* Establish a holistic Medical Training Strategy with clear KPIs.
* Set training objectives, evaluate impact (ROI), and define expected team outcomes.
* Identify training needs across Market Companies and Global functions, focusing on Medical and Market Access.
* Contribute to GBP initiatives in collaboration with the global brand team.
* Plan training activities aligned with learning objectives.
* Engage external suppliers / experts for content planning, design, and delivery, adapting courses to meet objectives.
* Design training formats to maximize effectiveness and efficiency, aligned with the Global Medical Training Strategy.
* Deliver or facilitate training sessions with the global brand team, covering Medical, Marketing, and Commercial areas.
* Monitor training effectiveness using appropriate tools, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
* Audit external training sessions and manage internal training delivery.
* Oversee the application of training in the workplace through structured monitoring.
* Continuously update training content (manuals and online courses) and prepare ongoing training related to the area of responsibility.
* Support knowledge acquisition at congresses or symposia where appropriate.
* Lead the Global Medical Training team by providing strategic guidance and supporting decision-making.
* Collaborate with departments such as Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, Commercial, People & Culture, Corporate, and Compliance.
* Provide strategic input to support Almirall's 2030 ambitions.
Required Education and Experience
* Degree in Health Sciences.
* Minimum of 8 years of training or related experience in the biopharmaceutical or health-related industry.
* Proficiency in English.
* Solid expertise in train-the-trainer methodologies.
* Experience with training strategies, methods, and programs within the pharmaceutical or health industry.
* Up-to-date knowledge of market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements.
