About the Role:

Our commercial software product harnesses FPGA IP and a Core SW library integrated into our hardware, delivering unparalleled synchronization for cutting-edge applications like Quantum, 6G, and Radar. PathWave Test Sync Executive empowers system application developers with an intuitive API to construct intricate solutions and manage expansive instrumentation systems effortlessly.
About the Team:
You'll be an integral part of our vibrant R&D team based in Barcelona (Spain), collaborating closely with teams across the USA and worldwide. We seek a skilled, motivated FPGA engineer to spearhead FPGA development, driving technology innovation.
Responsabilities:
Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to shape the product vision and translate it into a robust FPGA architecture.Partner with architects and developers from various projects to align on architecture, implementation, and product interaction and integration.Develop and implement new FPGA features to extend the existing product's capabilities to meet the evolving needs of next-generation products, key markets, and applications.
Desired Qualifications:
University degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with focus on FPGA.Strong HDL (Verilog, SystemVerilog) development skills. Highly capable to quickly develop, debug and troubleshoot issues at multiple layers in the system architecture, from FPGA simulation to the software driver layer.Familiarity with Xilinx devices and Vivado toolchain.Strong understanding of digital circuit design and schematics.Ability to multitask and solve complex problems across diverse areas while collaborating with multiple projects.
The icing on the cake:
Experience with QuestaSim and VHDL.Proficiency in continuous integration and version control.Exposure to test and measurement equipment and applications, synchronization, and time-critical applications.Programming skills in C++, C#, or Python.
