Vestas’ Internal Prevention Service is composed of a team of highly experienced, multidisciplinary HSE professionals with a firm commitment to Safety. The team is deployed across the national territory, supporting the organization in all regions where the company operates.
Responsibilities
- Promote a robust Safety culture across the organization and ensure the integration of HSE principles in all activities
- Recommend corrective and preventive measures to control and reduce identified risks
- Deliver Safety information and training to employees
- Monitor compliance with the risk control programme and personally carry out workplace inspections, including audits of work performed on wind turbines
- Support the planning of preventive activities and coordinate emergency response and first‑aid actions when required
- Collaborate, when applicable, with external prevention services
- Participate as a member of the local Safety & Health Committee
Qualifications
- Certified Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention (minimum of two technical specialties; three will be valuable). Intermediate Technicians may also be considered when extensive and demonstrated sector experience is shown
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HSE Technician, within the wind or renewable energy sector or other
- Valid driving license
- Familiarity with working at heights — GWO BST Trainer certification will be valuable
- Motivated, organized, open‑minded, and collaborative professional who is effective at managing their own workload and shows a high level of commitment to Safety
- Professional level of English
