.NET Core Developer – EY GDS Spain - Hybrid

As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.
Your key responsibilities
As a .NET Core Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable applications using the latest .NET technologies, while collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Develop back-end services and APIs using .NET Core and Entity Framework.
* Build secure and efficient web services using WCF and/or legacy ASMX technologies.
* Design and maintain interactive, component-based UIs with Blazor
* Write efficient database queries and manage data using Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
* Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and support.
* Ensure code quality through unit testing, debugging, and adherence to best practices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, testers, and project managers.
* Maintain technical documentation and contribute to architectural decisions.
Skills and attributes for success
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of .NET technologies, a problem-solving mindset, and a drive to deliver clean, maintainable code in a collaborative team environment.
* Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core and the .NET Framework.
* Proficiency in working with Entity Framework for database operations.
* Familiarity with WCF and ASMX services for system integration.
* Experience building user interfaces with Blazor or interest in modern .NET front-end development.
* Solid understanding of relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
* Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code following SOLID principles.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in agile development environments.
To qualify for the role, you must have
* A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Good organizational and analytical skills.
* Experience with Entity Framework, web services (WCF/ASMX), and relational databases.
* Fluent in English and Italian.
Ideally, you’ll also have
* Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
* Experience in international environments.
