Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to define and deploy data & AI strategies.
Conduct data maturity assessments, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Define and deploy data governance frameworks and operating models across various industries.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for data management.
Support clients in leveraging advanced analytics and AI for business insights and value generation.
Identify data & AI use cases to impact the P&L, assessing the value potential and feasibility.
Work closely with different functional and technical departments to deploy data governance and implement data & AI solutions.
Deliver insights through data visualization and storytelling to inform decision-making.
Manage stakeholder relationships and facilitate workshops to drive alignment on data initiatives.
Define and execute change management and data culture initiatives.
Elaborate presentations and dossiers targeting at top-level audiences within IT, Data and Business areas
Requirements
Strong knowledge of data strategy principles, data governance, and data management, with at least 5 years of experience.
Experience supporting the business to exploit data & AI to generate value for the organization.
Familiarity with DAMA, IDG, and/or other data governance frameworks.
Familiarity with data governance tools: Informatica, Collibra, Talend, etc.
Experience using analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and/or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of data management new trends such as Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Open Data, etc. is a plus
Experience in data modeling, data mining and/or data architecture design is a plus.
Project management experience, including scoping, timelines, and deliverables management.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders.
Experience managing teams and engaging in commercial activities.
Fluent level of spoken and written Spanish and English.
Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Power Point.
Data governance certifications will be considered a plus.
Location and ModelThe position is based in Madrid or Barcelona and follows a hybrid work model, with some days working from home and others in the office, where you can create interesting synergies with the rest of your team. It is essential to reside in Spain and have a work permit in Spain.
