Scope: International | Food & Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
Our client, a leading company in the food and FMCG sector, is seeking a Strategic Marketing Director (M/F) with a strong background in FMCG, market intelligence, strategic branding, and customer-focused innovation. The successful candidate will translate data into strategic decisions, enhance brand positioning, and lead innovation across business units and markets.
Main Objectives of the Role:
* Lead market research and identify business opportunities.
* Implement Business Intelligence to support strategic planning.
* Execute commercial strategy promoting customer centricity and new product development.
* Review and lead product launch processes.
* Define and drive the company’s communication strategy.
* Lead global brand strategy.
* Support country-level commercial planning with sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Market Insights & Business Intelligence: Develop research frameworks, analyze trends, and establish reporting systems.
* Information Management: Structure market information for value creation and product development.
* New Product Development: Lead NPD processes, coordinate teams, define milestones and KPIs.
* Corporate Communication: Lead external/internal communication strategies.
* Commercial Support: Collaborate with sales for strategic planning.
* Strategic Brand Management: Drive brand development and ensure consistency.
Candidate Profile:
* Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields; postgraduate preferred.
* 8+ years in strategic marketing within FMCG.
* Expertise in digital, omnichannel, e-commerce, P&L, and content marketing.
* Experience with senior stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies:
* Expertise in Market Insights & Business Intelligence.
* Strong strategic branding skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Experience working with high-performance teams and senior management.
* Strategic, analytical, creative mindset.
* Business acumen and passion for value creation.
* Proficiency in Office, CRM, AI tools.
* Fluent in Spanish and English; French a plus.
* Self-motivated and autonomous.
