Your Role
You will lead our product strategy for FinanceBuzz and its over 3 million visitors who come to our site each month. You will make an impact while leveraging innovative technologies and work with key business stakeholders to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for FinanceBuzz.
You will collaborate with passionate, brilliant individuals with many learning, growth, and mentorship opportunities. We are an extremely fun and tight-knit team, so we are very selective about who we hire to ensure our company values remain high.
Success Looks Like
1. Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, analysts, and engineers to create product requirements and KPIs.
2. Work closely with each team throughout research and analysis, ideation, planning, execution, deployment, and iteration.
3. Create and maintain the product backlog.
4. Determine the priority and business value of initiatives.
5. Work with engineering and design resources on sprint planning, daily standup meetings, retrospectives, resource allocation, and project management against roadmap execution.
6. Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to develop new ideas and tests to improve the user experience.
7. Use market and competitive analysis, business goals, and technology capabilities to assess new opportunities.
8. Effectively communicate to a broader business audience project status and post-launch measurement of progress.
What You Need to Succeed
1. 5+ years of product management experience with recent ownership of internal-facing products (Content Management Systems, AdTech, etc.).
2. Proven success in delivering technology products in a high-growth environment.
3. Experience with multivariate (A/B) testing and revenue optimization.
4. Data-driven decision-making and quantitative analysis skills with data analysis tools.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills.
6. Ability to handle shifting priorities and showing strong judgment in prioritization when working in a fast-paced environment.
7. Fluent in Agile.
Nice to Haves
1. Experience in the personal finance industry.
2. Experience in building affiliate/partner widgets.
3. Fundamental understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
4. Degree in computer science, information technology, or related engineering field.
5. A good sense of humor.
