Responsible for both Ocean Coastal network and Ocean Product routings; to design, analyze, and optimize network and service routes to achieve maximum operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, schedule reliability, and environmental sustainability.
Responsibilities:
* Coastal European Network Design & Optimization
* Design and scenario planning for the Coastal European Network to meet schedule reliability and cargo delivery targets at optimal cost.
* Lead analysis and initiatives such as service closures, outsourcing, and insourcing to optimize the network and ensure reliable customer products.
* Ensure the network is commercially viable, operationally feasible, and meets Service Delivery and Reliability targets.
* Routing Optimization
* Drive product optimization, cargo connection patterns including ocean/relay, DG routings, CTWs, and improve routing compliance ratio.
* Maintain business rules in the Ocean routing system.
* Operational Efficiency & Cost Reduction
* Rightsize the module network quarterly, sharing volume needs with FEF operators and owning assets.
* Analyze trade-offs between cost, service level, and reliability.
* Stakeholder Coordination
* Align network and routing strategies with commercial goals and operational capabilities, collaborating with Ocean Network, Market, OF/CF/Hub, and Area teams.
* Engage with Procurement and Suppliers to optimize ocean products for customers.
Accountable for:
* Module network design & optimization
* Deployment of vessels in the network – FEF/FEO
* Product Routings and costs in MePC/IRE
* Optimal coastal flows
* Performance management with suppliers
Consulted about:
* Mainliner/shuttle network changes impacting the module network.
* Support for executing Area business plans.
