CIDETEC Energy Storage is looking to hire someone responsible for preparing European (EU) proposals and providing support to the modelling group’s activities.
The position will cover the needs of strategic projects and European projects within the modelling group.

Our work covers the entire value chain, from battery chemistry to the final application. We design and develop cells, modules and battery packs tailored to our customers’ needs, with a clear focus on technology transfer to industry.
Your contribution
You will form part of a state-of-the-art research centre geared to sustainability and the circular economy, which has helped electrify Spain’s roads and is now working towards 100% future sustainability.
You will work on training and/or technology transfer projects within the strategic line of the Energy Materials unit, optimising resources and maximising results.
The selected candidate will work independently in accordance with the defined work plan.
He or she will participate in the following activities:
* Preparation and management of European R&D&I projects
* Analysis of how research projects fit in with European calls for funding proposals.
* Management of the consortium during the proposal preparation process.
* Literature and patent searches to identify new materials, technologies and processes.
* Writing proposals in the field of battery modelling.

Requirements
Education:
Doctorate/Master's Degree/Degree in industrial engineering, electro-chemistry or similar technical studies
Languages:
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Knowledge:
The person joining should have more than 3 years of experience in battery research, with a particular focus on:
* Experience in managing R&D projects.
* Experience in proposal writing.
* Experience in battery modelling.
