Description
As a critical contributor to the company's expansion into new markets and fund structures, this Developer specializes in Canadian feeder fund origination for hedge funds and private market investments. The role involves collaborating with a team responsible for new product development, fund structuring, manager onboarding, and lifecycle management. The Developer will support the end-to-end management of alternative investment vehicles, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and other structures. Responsibilities
* Develop and Maintain Fund Materials – Prepare and update fund marketing materials, reports, and presentations while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
* Assist in developing business plans and managing processes for new strategic initiatives.
* Coordinate Fund Approvals & Launches – Assist in the preparation and execution of materials for new fund approvals and onboarding processes.
* Support Fund Lifecycle Management – Oversee governance details, manage fund updates, and facilitate various launch activities.
* Cross-Team Collaboration & Compliance – Work with internal teams, including Compliance and Legal, to ensure smooth approvals and regulatory adherence.
* Project & Inbox Management – Track project progress, manage key deliverables, and respond to general partner (GP) inquiries promptly.
* Facilitating fund additions to the platform, coordinating meetings, and preparing reports, presentations, and fact sheets.
Requirements
* 6+ years of experience with investment vehicles, including Hedge Funds and Private Equity.
* 6+ years of experience preferably with fund administration, fund management, or custodial relationships.
* Positive attitude and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
* Extensive multitasking and assignment prioritization.
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and accustomed to project work with tight deadlines.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Strong analytical verbal and written communication skills.
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
