Job Summary:
The
Supply Chain Manager
is responsible for leading the
end-to-end supply chain strategy
for Spain & North Africa operations (Algeria, Libya, etc.), ensuring
operational efficiency, cost optimization, and alignment with business objectives. This role oversees
procurement, logistics, inventory management, vendor relationships, and digital transformation
to support the company's growth and profitability in the region, while ensuring compliance with
local regulations and HSE standards .

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement the
supply chain strategy
for Spain & North Africa, aligning with the company's long-term goals and
regional market dynamics .
Drive
cost optimization, process efficiency, and risk mitigation
across procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
Lead
digital transformation initiatives, including
automation, AI, and data analytics, tailored to North African operational challenges.
2. Regional Operational Excellence
Oversee
procurement, logistics, and inventory management
for Spain & North Africa, ensuring
timely delivery, quality, and compliance
with local regulations (e.g., Algerian/Libyan customs, import/export laws).
Ensure adherence to
HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards
and
regulatory requirements
in each country.
Optimize
supply chain resilience, continuity planning, and crisis management
for the region (e.g., geopolitical risks, port delays, currency fluctuations).
3. Procurement & Vendor Management
Lead
strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations
for Spain & North Africa, focusing on
local content compliance, cost efficiency, and supplier diversity .
Manage
vendor performance, contracts, and SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
in alignment with regional business needs.
Develop
local supplier networks
and partnerships to enhance supply chain agility.
4. Logistics & Inventory Optimization
Oversee
logistics operations, including
transportation, warehousing, and distribution
across North Africa.
Implement
inventory optimization strategies
to reduce costs and improve turnover.
Coordinate with
freight forwarders, customs brokers, and local authorities
to ensure smooth cross-border operations.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with
executive leadership, regional operations, finance, and external partners
to align supply chain with business needs.
Build and maintain
relationships with vendors, logistics providers, and industry stakeholders
in North Africa.
Engage with
local governments, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders
to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
6. Performance Management
Monitor
KPIs, metrics, and performance dashboards
for procurement, logistics, and inventory across the region.
Implement
continuous improvement initiatives
(e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Conduct
regular audits and risk assessments
to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
7. Digital Transformation & Data Analytics
Drive
digital transformation
in supply chain processes, including
ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), AI, and predictive analytics .
Implement
data-driven decision-making tools
to optimize procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
Ensure
cybersecurity and data privacy compliance
for regional operations.
8. Team Leadership & Talent Development
Lead the
Procurement, Logistics, Inventory, and Digital Transformation teams
for Spain & North Africa.
Develop
talent pipelines and succession plans
for regional supply chain roles.
Foster a
culture of continuous learning and innovation
within the team.
9. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with
local labor laws, customs regulations, and HSE standards
in each North African country.
Manage
trade compliance, sanctions, and anti-bribery policies
(e.g., OFAC, EU regulations).
Develop
contingency plans
for geopolitical, economic, or operational risks in the region.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field .
MBA or advanced degree preferred .
Experience:
15+ years of supply chain experience, with at least
5 years in a senior leadership role
(e.g., Supply Chain Director, VP Supply Chain).
Proven track record in
strategic sourcing, logistics, inventory optimization, and digital transformation
in
Spain and/or North Africa .
Experience in the
Oil & Gas, energy, or industrial sector
is
highly preferred .
Knowledge of
North African business practices, customs regulations, and local content laws
(e.g., Algerian Law 08-01, Libyan regulations).
Skills:
Strong
strategic planning, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills .
Expertise in
ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), data analytics, and supply chain digital tools .
Knowledge of
HSE standards, trade compliance, and risk management
in North Africa.
Excellent
leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
in a multicultural environment.
Ability to
navigate geopolitical and economic risks

Fluent in English and Spanish
(mandatory).
French and/or Arabic

North African operations ).
