Do you have solid experience in sales in the wind energy sector, industrial or similar? This could be your opportunity to join Vestas.
The Sales team for Iberia is responsible for all sales-related activities from initial customer contact to submitting offers, negotiating new contracts for wind farms and concluding them. Interact with stakeholders involved in the chain, including internal teams. Our aim is to be a top market and to position Vestas as the energy industry’s global partner on sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day interaction between Vestas and targeted customers, and understand the customer business case to ensure optimal, winning value propositions.
* Screen and evaluate sales opportunities.
* Prioritize projects and customers to optimize resource use and develop sales engineers.
* Coordinate the entire sales cycle: identify potential customers, quote and optimize deals, negotiate and conclude contracts for wind energy projects.
* Ensure effective interdisciplinary collaboration in a matrix organization. Coordinate and specify technical, financial, pricing, legal, construction and service solutions in close cooperation with other Vestas departments.
* Establish, develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders (existing and potential customers, authorities, utilities).
* Monitor market development and trends.
* Input to the development of Vestas\' regional commercial strategy.
Qualifications
* BS/MS degree in engineering, business administration or a related field
* 5 years of experience in sales in the energy industry, machinery, construction, large infrastructure projects or large manufactured products, or related environment. Some experience in wind energy sales is an asset.
* Solid commercial and legal experience from exposure to/understanding of customers.
* Fluency in English and Spanish

* Ability to build relationships with customers
* Good technical understanding
Additional Info
Living in Madrid is required. Availability to travel is required. Travel is expected 1 or 2 days per month.
