We are a specialized group in textile finishing and logistics, a benchmark in the industry, with the aim of covering all operations in the final phase of the logistics supply chain.
We are currently in a phase of growth and expansion, and therefore we are looking to incorporate a 3PL Operations Manager at our CABANILLAS DEL CAMPO (GUADALAJARA) site.
Position Mission
To lead the Operational area of the site for 3PL logistics operations, implementing Lean methodologies and driving sustained improvements in productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Act as a key driver of organizational and cultural change, working cross-functionally with all areas to promote a model of operational excellence aligned with the Operations Management strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee site operations for B2B, B2C, and Returns customers, as well as all logistics operations at the site.
- Manage and develop the Operations and Logistics team, together with direct reports, leading a team of more than 30 people.
- Control and supervise planning activities to anticipate operational needs.
- Manage typical 3PL operations for B2B and B2C environments: inbound and outbound flows, order preparation and resource planning, wave management and cut-off times, order releases by delivery routes, cross-docking/flow-through, picking, stock management, etc.
- Maintain operational communication with customers and manage the relationship end-to-end.
- Ensure compliance with customer SLAs.
- Lead the implementation of new customer projects.
- Guarantee the correct and efficient flow of goods.
- Drive process improvement through data analysis to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Propose improvements within the area: investments, staffing, layout, organization, etc.
- Implement the Operational Excellence Plan.
- Analyze production processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate continuous improvement teams together with Industrial Management, Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Health & Safety.
- Lead the implementation of Lean tools: 5S, SMED, TPM, VSM, Visual Management.
- Standardize operational procedures and work instructions.
- Define, analyze, and monitor KPIs together with the Spain Operations Management team.
- Promote cultural change towards a model of operational excellence.
- Ensure effective coordination with other departments and sections.
What Profile Are We Looking For?
- 2–5 years of experience as an area manager within a 3PL operator with B2B, B2C, and Returns operations.
- 2–5 years of experience managing teams.
- Proven experience in Lean Management / Continuous Improvement.
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership, influencing, and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience with WMS and/or ERP systems.
- Proactive, open-minded, and adaptable person, comfortable working autonomously and leading teams.
