Job Description Summary
PDx Iberia General Manager is responsible for the profitable growth of the business focused on both commercial and operational aspects leading and managing both day-to-day activities and strategic growth having a one PDx and GEHC approach.
Key metrics of success are : sales profit cash Customer satisfaction and market share. The General Manager is responsible for leading the Sales organization to deliver on these metrics whilst also shaping the future of the business and our market through collaboration with external third party stakeholders and supported by functional experts from within our business.
This is a key role in the global organisation working alongside product management supply chain and other functions suggesting product portfolio evolution and creating business opportunities to leverage and improve products / brands equity driving further growth and innovation.
Responsibilities Leadership and Strategic Planning
Develops and executes strategy for Iberia and ensures alignment with the overall priorities of the International GM.
Develop and own long term strategy to maximise the potential of the Iberia market including building plans to shape the industry in which we operate especially in light of our NPI pipeline.
Provide strong leadership to teams fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and excellence.
Set performance goals and metrics for the team and monitor progress towards achieving them.
Identify and assess strategic opportunities for the PDx Iberia business through ongoing research of industry trends and risk assessment as well as partner with product and manufacturing leadership to develop a long-term vision and strategic roadmap.
In conjunction with marketing determine the market potential for product / product range or segment and prioritize the opportunities.
Operational Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company ensuring efficiency quality and compliance with regulations and standards.
Identify and address operational challenges and bottlenecks in a timely manner.
Responsible for forecasting (S&OP demand and financial planning) with Demand Planner and Finance Manager.
Lead the Monthly operating reviews and KPI review (for their team and at International level).
Ensures alignment between relevant global and regional functions to enable smooth operations (incl. Product launch).
Stakeholder management throughout the wing to wing supply to customer process.
Financial Management
Monitor financial performance analyze financial data and prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Implement strategies to maximize revenue generation and profitability.
Business Development and Growth
Identify strategic partnerships collaborations or other opportunities which could unlock further potential in the market.
Involvement in critical pricing negotiations and deal management.
Know interact and develop the strategy with Key Opinion Leaders and decision makers in product relevant scientific areas;
manage professional relations with key Customers to ensure understanding of needs and that GE HealthCare product value proposition is differentiated in the minds of these key Customer groups. Nurture relationships with professional society stakeholders.
Understand and analyze market dynamics and competition establish extended market intelligence in relation to Customer pipeline to develop business opportunities. Provide ongoing feedback to management region and marketing.
Continuously update understanding of the Customers issues challenges and needs and understanding of and future trends in Contrast Media and Molecular Imaging.
Required Qualifications
Academic Background : Bachelors degree or higher preferably in Life Sciences Engineering or Business Administration.
Healthcare Industry Experience : Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience within the healthcare sector with deep knowledge of the market landscape key stakeholders and decision-making dynamics.
Strategic & Transformational Leadership : Proven ability to lead through transformation with a servant leadership mindset. Skilled in strategic planning data-driven decision-making and driving sustainable growth.
Business Management Expertise : Demonstrated success in business planning resource allocation and execution of go-to-market strategies that deliver measurable results.
Financial & Organizational Acumen : Strong understanding of financial metrics organizational design and external market dynamics. Ability to operate with both regional and global perspectives.
Communication & Influence : Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trust influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
