Join us to scale the most efficient green hydrogen technology and decarbonize industry._
**About Kerionics**
At **KERIONICS**, we develop, manufacture and commercialize key components for high-temperature electrolyzers, focusing on **SOEL (Solid Oxide Electrolysis)** — the most efficient technology for green hydrogen production.
We are a spin-off of the **Institute of Chemical Technology (ITQ)** at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), leveraging over a decade of research in advanced ceramic materials to help decarbonize industries.
KERIONICS' innovative technology offers significantly higher energy efficiency compared to existing solutions, making it an adecuado fit for industrial integration. Our expertise is aimed at serving energy-intensive process industries, driving decarbonization where replacing fossil fuels is still a major challenge. Additionally, we help reduce the production costs of oxygen and hydrogen, enhancing the competitiveness of our clients.
**Who are we**
We’re a multicultural team of **20 people (and still growing)**, coming from different countries and backgrounds, all driven by the same purpose: creating a cleaner future through technological innovation.
At KERIONICS, we believe technology should work for the planet. We’re passionate about helping cut emissions in energy-intensive industries where fossil fuel replacement remains tough.
**What are we looking for**
We’re looking for a **Finance & Project Operations Coordinator** to join our team in Valencia. Someone who wants to be part of the energy transition, helping scale one of the most promising green hydrogen technologies by ensuring solid financial management and supporting strategic partnerships.
**What will you be doing**
You’ll play a key role at the heart of our operations, blending financial oversight, project coordination and strategic support. Your day-to-day will include:
- ** Overseeing Kerionics’ financial control**: managing our treasury Excel, coordinating invoice payments with our Project Controller R&D;, uploading transactions to our bank platform, and making sure everything is approved and processed on time.
- **Preparing financial reports for our CEO**, giving a clear, updated view of our economic health.
- **Allocating project expenses**, ensuring every invoice is properly assigned to the right project to meet budgets and funding requirements.
- **Supporting and tracking our projects end-to-end**: you’ll know each project’s details, deadlines and needs, attend meetings, collect technical documentation from teammates, complete required submissions and keep everything moving. This is the most challenging — and rewarding — part of the role.
- **Handling day-to-day startup needs**, from procurement tasks and managing folder access, to liaising with our legal and financial advisors and joining project meetings. No two days look the same.
You’ll also:
- ** Research new funding opportunities and grants.** Sometimes we’ll point you to a specific call and you’ll dive in to figure out how it works and what’s required.
- **Reach out to partners**, sharing our projects and inviting them to join future initiatives.
- **Prepare project presentations**, making sure our ideas and results come across clearly and convincingly.
And if it excites you, you’ll also have the chance to **stay on top of trends and regulations in green hydrogen and the energy transition**, adding even more strategic value to our mission.
**How we work**
This is a **100% on-site role** at our facilities in **Parque Tecnológico de Paterna (Valencia)**, where you’ll enjoy a collaborative environment with cutting-edge technology at your fingertips.
We start early — from **7:30**, so you’ll have your afternoons free to enjoy your hobbies, sports or quality time with friends and family. We truly believe a balanced life makes us better at what we do.
**What do we offer**
- ** €22-25K**gross annual salary.
- **22 working days of vacation per year**, plus the Christmas period (December 25 to 31) off.
- The chance to grow in a **startup on a mission**, working side by side with people who care deeply about building solutions for a greener future.
- The opportunity to work in an environment where mistakes are part of learning, and feedback helps us all improve.
- Becoming part of a multicultural team where you’ll benefit from diverse perspectives and experiences.
Your work will have a **real impact on industrial decarbonization** — and you’ll help scale one of the most efficient green hydrogen technologies in the market.
