Bracap Global Tours is an incoming wholesale tour operator specialising in designing and organising tailor-made group trips across Europe. We seek a Groups’ Travel Agent to join our dynamic Operations team at our Barcelona office.
The Role
The Groups’ Travel Agent role is essential for the smooth operation of our travel services. This position involves assisting with client requests, supporting trip planning, and ensuring all travel details are organised and executed seamlessly. While primarily administrative, it requires a passion for travel, attention to detail, and collaboration with various departments to deliver exceptional experiences for our clients.
Responsibilities :
* Assisting clients with travel inquiries and bookings
* Contacting suppliers via email and phone
* Managing and organising travel itineraries, including transportation, accommodation, and activities
* Coordinating with suppliers (hotels, transportation providers, etc.) to confirm bookings and arrangements
* Updating and maintaining travel databases and internal documentation
* Supporting the preparation and execution of custom group itineraries
* Managing cross-selling opportunities
Requirements :
* Fluent in Catalan, Spanish, and English (additional languages are a plus)
* Strong understanding of the travel industry and customer service
* Proficient in Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word)
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
* Motivated, reliable, and autonomous with a passion for travel
* Problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
