The Opportunity
Location: Barcelona
Mission:
Provide general support to Global Financial Services for tax and statutory matters.
Responsibilities/Key Tasks
What you'll get to do
TAX & COMPLIANCE
* Support Puig tax compliance department with tax returns, tax accounting models, VAT implications, and tax formalities.
* Coordinate and support subsidiaries managed directly from HQ regarding tax obligations.
* Manage worldwide corporate tax control (tax computation, current and deferred tax provisions, budget vs actual analysis).
* Assist with indirect tax functions, including technical support to accounting.
* Implement new tax obligations such as e-invoicing and e-reporting.
* Prepare and follow up on tax reports, including Country-by-country reporting and total group tax contributions.
* Collaborate with the IT department to automate tax procedures and establish controls and validations to ensure compliance.
STATUTORY & REPORTING
* Coordinate and support worldwide closing and reporting processes.
* Analyze statutory figures by legal entity and implement corrections and improvements.
* Support and collaborate with accounting and controlling functions across different business units.

Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a finance department.
Education:
Background in Administration and Business Management or Economics.
Languages:
* English (must)
* French (valuable)

* SAP user
