The candidate would take ownership of the designs on projects and support the civil team designing civils systemsb. /b /ppbr/ppbTechnical and Leadership skill /bs: /ppbr/ppStrong level of civil design capability including: interpreting existing site conditions levels, underground drainage, utilities, pavements and roads, flooding, and earthworks. /ppStrong understanding of stormwater / drainage hydraulics and flow behaviour is required. /ppThe successful candidate will need to be able carry out most of this design autonomously for medium building sites and work under supervision for larger projects. /ppConfident engaging with clients, contractors, other designers, and other stakeholders. /ppMaintain strong working relationships to support successful project delivery with a respectful approach. /ppEfficient approach to work, prioritising effectively and using appropriate levels of detail to deliver in a timely manner. /ppAbility to set project plans, monitor delivery, and execute successfully (including managing scope, programme, resources, capabilities, and delivery risks). Acting as design lead and job runner as required. /ppA good understanding of BIM requirements. Proficiency in (and enthusiasm for) design and modelling software including, Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modelling software such as InfoDrainage. /ppExperience with submission and approval with relevant Spanish bodies and authorities (Colegio de Ingenieros, municipalities, environmental authorities, statutory undertakers, and other stakeholders). /ppGood knowledge of Spanish design codes, standards and regulations including, PG3, CTE, Guía de cimentaciones en obras de Carretera. /ppKnowledge of UK and European codes is an advantage. /ppbr/ppbAbout you: /b /ppbr/pp·Relevant experience of working in either a design office or directly within the construction industry with exposure to a variety of project sizes, stages and industries, this typically takbes 4 - 7 ye /bars to achieve. /pp· University degree as Ingeniero de Caminos Canales y Puertos, Ingeniero de Obras Públicas, Ingeniero Civil, Ingenierio Edificación. /pp· Fluent in spoken and written in English and Spanish. /ppbr/ppThis description reflects the core activities of the role and is not intended to be exhaustive.
