Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Regional Sales Manager North West Europe/ Iberia to join our team in Madrid, Spain.


Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will maximize the exposure of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (WHR) franchised hotels within their territory, focusing on developing sales opportunities, customer account management, and driving contribution to the hotels in the region(s). The region includes North West Europe and Iberia, with a focus on Iberia and the UK.

They will create opportunities to manage and develop existing National and Regional Accounts while also developing new business accounts across all market segments to increase contribution to a set of hotels. This position involves a sales approach in partnership with clients and travel intermediaries, aiming to deliver incremental revenue and increased market share for hotels, franchise partners, and WHR.

The manager will work to meet or exceed annual revenue goals by:

* Devising and implementing sales plans for top clients.
* Negotiating and contracting rates for key clients across segments within the designated region.
* Managing group leads and RFP solicitations through Wyndham Sales Systems.
* Achieving targets based on room night production, RFP acceptances, and other metrics.
* Conducting an average of 25+ sales appointments or calls monthly.


Responsibilities

* Sales Account Management & New Business Development: Identify and secure new accounts, develop pipeline plans with revenue and room night targets across segments such as Corporate Transient, Group/MICE, Leisure groups, and FIT.
* Develop strategic partnerships: with Tour Operators, Corporate Clients, Travel Agencies, and MICE companies to drive business.
* Franchisee Relations: Work with franchise and management partners to understand their needs, visit hotels, and educate them on WHR tools.
* Internal Relations & Systems: Collaborate internally to ensure success, support colleagues, and utilize business tools effectively.
* Industry Participation: Represent WHR at industry events and become an active member of relevant associations.
* Self-Development: Continuously enhance knowledge and skills to stay current and prepare for future roles.


Complexity & Scope

The manager will drive significant revenue, managing accounts solely within their territory, mainly remotely, with minimal supervision. They are responsible for their portfolio's revenue and business development, with annual revenue goals and participation in incentive plans.


Financial Responsibility

Responsible for managing expenses within budgets, reviewing costs and ROI for business trips, and submitting monthly expense reports.

Qualifications

* College/University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in hospitality or a related field.
* Significant hotel sales experience.
* Multi-segment knowledge preferred.
* Valid local driving license preferred.
* Fluency in English required; additional European languages, especially Spanish, are advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality sales systems.
