Location: Barcelona, Spain

We have established a Global Capability Center in Barcelona to support Galderma's growth trajectory and our global commercial and functional teams. The Ethics & Compliance Lead, EMEAC is responsible for leading and managing the compliance function for Galderma's EMEAC region, serving as the primary point of contact on all EMEAC compliance matters.

In this role, you will advise on compliance matters and key risk areas and drive a strong culture of trust within the business and partner functions. The role will work closely with EMEAC senior management, including the EMEAC business regional Head and his regional leadership team, country General Managers and members of the Legal & Compliance function, including Country Compliance Officers (CCOs) and Compliance Liaisons across EMEAC. The role will also serve as the Chair of the EMEAC Risk & Compliance Council.

Key Responsibilities

- Overseeing Galderma's compliance program relevant to the EMEAC region to ensure it aligns with regulator and other stakeholder expectations, leading and counseling on the implementation of key elements of the program against strategic priorities.
- Leading and overseeing compliance with applicable global and EMEAC company policies and procedures.
- Chairing and having responsibility for the effective workings of the EMEAC Risk & Compliance Council.
- Managing the compliance network across EMEAC and coordinating activities, including working closely with each Country Compliance Officer and, where no CCO exists in a country, the relevant Compliance Liaison in such country or, in the case of Europe Middle Markets (EMM), the EMM Compliance Liaison.
- Driving the implementation of initiatives to ensure compliance with Galderma's global compliance program, relevant codes of practice and all country laws and regulations.
- Monitoring and auditing compliance systems and providing periodic assessments and reporting.
- Overseeing, leading, and directing the development, design, and implementation of overall EMEAC compliance training.
- Playing a key managing role in terms of the oversight and administration of Galderma's Integrity Reporting Hotline as it relates to EMEAC matters.
- Driving a culture of integrity and ethical behavior across and throughout the company, developing strong working relationships with key EMEAC business leaders to ensure involvement in critical business initiatives.
- Monitoring the regulatory and broader compliance environment to determine the potential impact of regulatory changes on the compliance programs as they affect the EMEAC region and drive necessary changes to relevant compliance policies and processes.

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required;

lawyer qualification preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience advising a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device company on compliance matters is required. Experience also working within the consumer products industry is a plus.
- 3+ years of in‑house experience required;

law firm experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance and broader legal and regulatory framework laws across the EMEC region, including regulations and guidance applicable to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, including but not limited to product labeling, promotional and promotional activities, marketing strategies, sales compensation, government reimbursement, and interactions with healthcare professionals.
- 3+ years of experience managing either a team of direct reports or managing professionals within a matrix organization, ideally with demonstrated success leading and influencing in a global organization.
- Experience developing, designing, and implementing compliance training programs, conducting/directing internal investigations, developing risk management strategies, and drafting policies and standard operating procedures.
