And you can maximize your work-life balance and flexibility through our- Hybrid Work Model- Job Description- Position Purpose- This role supports the European Carrier Management team with continuous improvement by running and coordinating projects focusing on People, Customer, Cost and Environment.- This roles’ primary aim is to design and implement our Transport Decarbonization Program in Europe and to strategically lead our Vertical Transport Collaboration projects in close collaboration with our regional Carrier Managers enabling us to achieve our Decarbonization Objectives.- Major/Key Accountabilities- Achieve our Transport Decarbonization targets across the Europe through designing and implementing our transport partner decarbonization strategy and further development in line with our Regional Carrier Managers of our Vertical Transport Collaboration program for all our Business Units (Pallets & Containers).- Keep up to date with the latest legislation regarding European sustainability requirements and evaluating the impact on the European Supply Chain- Lead and manage specific Sustainability projects such as; Alternative Fuels, new types of engines and any other options to reduce our CO2 emissions footprint like Platooning, driver efficiency trainings, etc.- Liaising with the Sustainability department to align strategic direction and work closely with the Global Supply Chain Decarbonization team to report on progress made against Europe’s logistics decarbonisation goals and share knowledge with cross-regional logistics teams- Liaising with our European Carrier Management team to align strategic direction and ensure that projects which affect the European Supply Chain Sustainability metric are effectively evaluated, scoped, designed, and implemented- Direct engagement with our mayor Transport Partners in Europe to detect best practice, evaluate the potential and gather full engagement to achieve our targets- To actively participate in the Carrier Management Team meetings to offer support and guidance on decarbonization and transport collaboration issues- Supporting and actively participating in Customer related projects and sessions to share best practice related to our Decarbonization journey and to engage on common projects to improve our emissions footprint through collaboration.- Experience- Supply chain experience - Focussed on Transport Management / Procurement with a proven track record of at least 5 years- Proven experience related to Transport Decarbonization projects- Skills and Knowledge- Strong understanding of lean waste analysis and six sigma- Strong interpersonal, presentational, and networking skills- Strong analytical and technical skills - including negotiating, risk mitigation and problem resolution- Strong strategic skills- Team player but able to work autonomously- Experience with logistics and supply chain industries- Experience with working in Sustainability- Languages- Essential: English- Desirable: Spanish / any other EU language- Preferred EducationQualified Professional and Equivalent.
