We are hiring a senior commercial and operational leader to build and scale a high-potential business focused on used industrial equipment, machinery and industrial vehicles across Spain and Southern Europe.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a business at the intersection of asset trading, operations and technology, with a mandate to professionalize and scale a fragmented market through a more structured, data-driven, customer-centric and increasingly tech-enabled approach. We are also building with the ambition to develop progressively more AI-enabled workflows and decision-making tools over time.

We are looking for someone with strong experience in used equipment, industrial assets, remarketing, fleet-based environments, industrial distribution, auctions, or adjacent sectors, who combines commercial judgment with operational discipline and a hands-on leadership style.

The role
\n
You will lead the development of a used-equipment business unit covering the full asset lifecycle — from sourcing and acquisition to refurbishment, pricing, sales execution and after-sales quality.
\n
This role is well suited to someone who has already worked in environments where asset condition, resale value, pricing discipline, inventory decisions, refurbishment and sell-through are key drivers of performance, and who is excited by the opportunity to help build a more modern, technology-led operating model in a traditionally fragmented and under-digitized sector.

Key responsibilities
\n
- Build and scale a used equipment buy–refurbish–sell business across Spain and Southern Europe.
- Develop strong sourcing channels across rental companies, fleet owners, dealers, distributors, remarketing players and other industrial asset owners.
- Lead disciplined acquisition decisions, balancing upside, liquidity, quality and downside protection.
- Oversee the operating flow from intake and inspection through transport, refurbishment, quality control and go-to-market readiness.
- Define pricing strategy and route-to-market across direct sales, broker networks, B2B channels and secondary disposal channels where relevant.
- Improve structure, processes, partner network and execution model to enable scale.
- Work closely with leadership on business design, operational excellence and long-term platform development.
- Help build and lead a lean, high-performing team over time.

What we are looking for

- 8+ years of relevant experience in used equipment, industrial assets, remarketing, distribution, rental, fleet trading, industrial vehicles, heavy equipment, or related sectors
- Strong commercial instinct combined with hands-on operational understanding
- Experience making or leading buying, pricing and inventory decisions
- Good judgment around asset condition, technical evaluation, refurbishment standards and after-sales issues
- Strong understanding of how to manage complexity across sourcing, operations and commercial execution
- Ability to operate with ownership, pace and discipline in an entrepreneurial environment
- Experience leading teams and coordinating cross-functional execution
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, technology-enabled business
- Openness to building in a data-rich environment and to leveraging increasingly digital and AI-enabled tools to improve decision-making and execution
