Experteer Overview
As a Communications System Engineer, you will design, integrate, and certify the avionics communications system for Airbus platforms. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to translate aircraft requirements into robust architectures, oversee feasibility studies, and support certification and customer interactions. You will contribute to state-of-the-art radios and satcom solutions while ensuring compliance with international regulations. This role offers scope to influence system architecture and drive cross-functional collaboration in a high-stakes environment.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Define the architecture and specifications of the Communications system
• Integrate the Communications system on EF2000 and other Airbus DS Military Aircraft platforms
• Allocate aircraft requirements to the Communications System
• Elaborate engineering design documentation and support design reviews
• Lead or support feasibility studies, certification, and qualification processes
• Manage supplier technical interfaces and test campaigns
• Support meetings with end customers and transversal areas (Services, Production, Procurement)
• Contribute to test procedures, facilities, and real-time test result analysis
• Support Technical Publications (AFM, FCOM) and R&T; programs relating to SDR/SCA Radios
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international aviation regulations (ICAO, FAA, EASA, EUROCONTROL)
Responsabilidades
• Telecommunications Engineering degree or similar
• 3 years of experience in systems engineering or avionics systems development
• Good knowledge of Communication Functions in other platforms
• Background knowledge: Inmarsat/Iridium Satcom, Radios (V/UHF, VHF, HF), Civil Datalink (FANS, CPDLC)
• International project experience
• Strong English and Spanish skills
• Good communication and proactive problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under strict timescales as part of a multifunctional team
