Role Description

Booking.com is looking for an Account Manager to join our team in Valencia on a permanent basis. Please attach CV and any additional documentation in English language. You must be available to travel up to 50% of your time with a full driver's license. We are a hybrid business with two days based in our office.

Can you help Booking.com's partners grow their business by providing them with analysis, growth opportunities and new products and services? If your answer is "yes", you might have the determination to be our next contract Account Manager - joining our Partner Services team in our Valencia, Spain office.


Responsibilities

* Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business;
* Maintain a strong relationship with the accommodation partners (i.e. visiting accommodations, contacting on regular basis);
* Act on leads, partner feedback and information on competitor activity;
* Translate statistics and insights about Booking.com's competitors as well as local market knowledge into relevant actions;
* Provide trainings to accommodations about the online reservation systems;
* Support partner events: organize Booking.com events and webinars, as well as participate in external events and trade fairs representing the company.


Qualifications and Requirements

* Significant experience in a relevant account management/sales/business development function with experience of the hotel, travel sector;
* Proficient in spoken and written English and Spanish;
* Affinity or experience within e-commerce and/or travel industry;
* Proactive with a sense of responsibility and can work independently;
* Accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail;
* A team player, self‑motivated, flexible and open to change;
* Driver’s license;
* Availability to travel up to 50% of your time, with two days based in our office.

* Good communication and analytical skills;
* Ability to multi‑task & flexible attitude;
* Commercially driven attitude;
* Broad Job Knowledge (3‑5 years);
* Objection handling;
* Ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent experience.
